ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work
Family and community service are very important to me. From a young age I have always been involved in my community. Growing up in Connecticut I was a volunteer Firefighter and an EMT. I loved serving in a way that I knew people and understood their needs in a capacity of helping and empowering. When my family moved to Oregon, I became involved with the Junior League of Eugene, volunteering in my children’s schools and hospitals with our dog, International Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) and many more.
EWEB is part of the infrastructure of our community and a business. Finding the delicate balance between safety, affordability and incentives to help homeowners and housing providers reduce their monthly bills for its occupants is just one of my motivations and passions. I am running for EWEB Commissioner because I have stood on the sidelines complaining and now its time to step up and make a difference for our community and its partners.
